Steve Smith helped eXpertLeagues’ Dave Gawron (repping RotoExperts at the time) win the Triple Crown Football Auction league championship in the 2011 season.

This list covers the following six leagues. The idea of the Triple Crown leagues is for twelve sites to have one rep in each league. It is not exactly that way now, but seven sites are currently participating in that manner, with a few more sites having reps in two of the three leagues.

Triple Crown Football Standard (TCS)

This league is run via the CBS Sports league manager, which is unfortunately not currently viewable to the public, but articles are posted here on XL detailing Draft Results, Regular Season Results, and Playoff Results. It’s a twelve-team league with rules and scoring pretty much along the lines of the default CBS league. The teams are drafted in a snake draft.

Triple Crown Football Auction (TCFA)

This league is also run via the CBS Sports league manager. Twelve teams compete in a league just like the TCS, but the teams are drafted in an auction instead of a snake draft. (I personally think auctions are vastly superior to snake drafts!)

Triple Crown Football IDP (TCI)

This is also run via the CBS Sports league manager. It’s a twelve-team snake draft, and again, rules and scoring match the TCS. The difference here is the use of Individual Defensive Players. Lately, the draft has been the slow, rolling, email kind.

Blog Wars Football (BWF)

This league is run via the ESPN league manager. In this “shallow” league, ten teams compete in a league where the standard ESPN PPR rules and scoring are in place. The teams are drafted in a snake draft format. The participants are mostly writers.

Mic Wars Football (MWF)

This league is run via the Yahoo! league manager. Twelve teams usually compete in a a league where the standard Yahoo! PPR rules and scoring are in place. Fourteen teams competed in 2014. The teams are drafted in a snake draft. The participants are mostly podcasters or broadcasters.

The Ultimate Football Challenge (UFC)

This league is run via the MyFantasyLeague manager. The rules and scoring are similar to the NFFC/WCOFF leagues, with 0.5 PPR for RBs and full PPR for WRs and TEs. This twelve-team league usually utilizes a slow, rolling, 3RR (third round reversed) snake draft.

And now, the list of champions…
